What you'll be doing:
An exciting role that will drive and shape the way in which Supply Chain Planning support UK business growth, this includes forecasting, supply planning and demand planning. This role will be the primary contact for Commercial partners & Suppliers in any supply related matters, balancing commercial / consumer needs with supply capability and inventory availability.
Key responsibilities:
Forecasting and Local Market Demand Management
Deliver timely, rational and fact based demand forecast over ~30wk horizon, this includes utilisation of statistical tools as well as building in latest consumption rates into operational demand horizon
Ensuring demand plans accurately reflect known marketing activities, product launch timings and promotional activities
Supporting Marketing teams to evaluate the likely impact of commercial investments
Conversion of forecast into Supply signal; Making item level recommendations for demand plans and flow strategies to maximise product availability and optimise cash and inventory.
Input to stocking policies and subsequently monitor supply readiness & inventory risks, especially for promotional and new selling periods.
Resolving & communicating supply related issues into business
First point of contact for commercial partners on demand & supply related issues
Root cause investigation / action planning and continuous improvement of forecast accuracy and supply performance
Prepare the relevant SC materials as an input to S&OP / S&OE Meetings.
Continuous improvement of process and systems that support UK integrated planning
We'd love you to have:
Work Experience
3+ years Supply Chain, Forecasting, or Business experience with documented success
Evidence of driving performance through continuous improvement
Education
BS Degree or equivalent experience
Mathematics A-Level (or equivalent) preferred
Skills & Competencies required
High PC capability (Excel skills required, Tableau / SQL preferred)
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Understanding of Planning concepts / tools
Excellent attention to detail
Stakeholder management required across multiple departments
Ability to work with pace and deliver under tight turnarounds
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate / influence to and above Manager level across multiple functions
